  1. You mean they did not have supplements at their disposal in the local Walmart?

They ate other animals that contained calcium.

  2. Bones and teeth have calcium.  They ate animals, so they got bones and teeth.

  3. Maybe I don't understand the question but calcium carbonate is found in nature.  Raptors such as the T-rex were meat eaters so I imagine they got plenty of calcium from their prey.

  4. A T-Rex is a carnivore, animals are high in calcium, with calcium being a macronutrient within the body. The T-rex would have received plenty of Calcium from it's food, especially with the quantity of food it required to eat in order to sustain itself

  5. They did get calcium from the other animals they ate!

  6. I don't know let me go back in time and ask one of them.

But most likely it got calcium form the other dinosours it ate with those huge teeth.

  7. Well, they probably DID eat calcium, From other Dinosaurs or prey that crossed their path. Dinosaurs even ate coconuts! Tyrannosaur teeth could crush bone, a skill perhaps used to extract as much food (bone marrow) as possible from carcass remnants, usually the least nutritious parts. Since at least some of Tyrannosauruses prey could move quickly, evidence that it walked instead of ran could indicate that it was a scavenger.

  8. maybe they licked rocks

  9. Are you under the impression that milk is the only source of calcium, or something? Then let me ask you: where do you think cows get the calcium to put in their milk?

    See? Calcium is everywhere.

  10. that's just how they were made, silly. after all, they are hug egiant creatures! it's obvious.
