  1. In simplicity. He saw the beauty in being exposed to the wonders of nature. Being brought up very rural, I was blessed to be able to look and see. To be able to listen and hear. Being of native blood, I have learned to live old school. I don,t like what the world has become. This is my own opinion of which I am entitled. If I asked any person how many trees and what kind are they that they have in their yard, not many could answer with clarity. Thoreau was so involved with Waldens Pond that it became a part of him and he of it. I can understand what he saw and what he felt. If everyone could live as he did for even a month, many would change their outlook on life.
