How did YOU get the motivation to lose weight?

I am not over weight, I am actually in a healthy weight range but I carry most my weight in my tummy and would love to get rid of it. I know how to lose it and my husband is a personal trainer ..I've lost 30lbs 3 years ago and kept it off but losing the last bit has been a HUGE battle for me. I just want to know how you got your motivation and maybe it will inspire me to get back on the super healthy lifestyle I use to lead. Thanks for your help :) can't wait to hear your stories!

  2. I set a goal for myself

    for example, before the summer I planned to lose a few pounds so I would look great in a swimsuit

    after spending time in italy, I wanted to tone up for my birthday party and the beginning of school

    If I set a feasible date, I have something tangible to look forward to.

    In addition, I get my friends and family to help me while on a diet. My mother started sending me fruit and yogurt instead of sandwhiches to school and would go to the gym with me :)

  3. Think about how next summer you will look amazing in a bathing suit.  But dont just do it for looks also think about your grandchildren in many years to come and how you want to be healthy.

  4. i look in the mirror in a size 6 pair of jeans and if its a struggle to get them on then i know its time to cut down!

    I recommend going on a low carbohydrate diet but don't cut it out completely but its really good, High protein and high fibre works for me. I'm a healthy size 6 and i'm proud of it.

  6. Today there is too much information available on losing weight that has become more confusing and sometimes difficult to follow. It's actually very easy to lose weight if you follow my weight loss tips.

    * Be in right frame of mind

    * Eat whole food

    * Eat fresh fruit

    * Drink enough water

    * Always chew your food

    * Take small meals

    * Include protein at meal

    * Shut off TV while eating

    * Increase your physical activity
