  1. GOD made adam and eve and was so pleased with his creation that he made

many more people.so that should be the answer.what would be the point in naming every being god created,it would take forever.

  2. I can't wait to read the answers to this one.

  3. There are no "races".

  4. its a fairy tale

  5. There is only one race. Isolation, variation, and adaptation is your answer.

Edit: btw- mitochondrial dna research  done at U-CAL Berkeley proved in the late 1980's that we all came from one woman.

So.. the Adam and Eve story is plausible.

  6. Very simple, as this assumption that,

"adam and eve is said to be the first humans on earth." is not true at all.

  7. First of all adam and eve are not responsible for the different races because if the earth was destroyed by a flood and so new people such as noah and his family are really responsible for that change in color. the second logical reason is that genes change and divide into many different forms so that could be another reason for the different races.

  8. Lol.

That is one of the most SIGNIFICANT flaws of Christianity/other religions.

  9. this should be good...

  10. The adam and eve story is just a fable, read, "Guns, Germs and Steel" by Jared Diamond to set things straight.

  11. I think you know that there is only one race. The human race. Color of skin or texture of hair does not make us all that different. Just a very slight difference in melanin makes the skin color a bit different.

Now contrast that to the ape. Not even close.

  12. I don't believe in Adam and Eve, but I do believe humans share a common ancestor.  Skin color comes from the amount of melanin the body produces.  This is an adaptation to the environment in which we live.  When you live in sub-saharan Africa, the sun is at a high angle in the sky year-round, thus you are exposed to more UV rays and thus the body produces more melanin in response.  Conversely, if you live in northern Europe, the sun is at a low angle in the sky during the winter months and it is cloudy more often, thus you aren't exposed as much to the UV rays and the body produces less melanin.

  13. I don't think its really that complicated - just simple genetics, especially with the separation caused by the different languages at Babel.

Essentially, there is only one "human race". When we talk of race, we are really talking about appearance (skin colour, eye colour, physical build etc.) - genetic traits common to a particular people group. (All "races" are capable of producing fertile offspring with other "races", so the differences in "race" is really only visual).

When Adam and Eve were created, they had within them the genetic variability for all the people we see today. However, as can be observed in populations today, when a population is divided, some genetic information in that population can be lost (Europeans producing "white" offspring have lost the information to produce offspring with more melanin in their skin, similarly, Africans producing "black" offspring have lost the information to produce offspring with less skin melanin. Interestingly, some couples with medium skin colour are capable of producing both "black" and "white" offspring, as they have not lost this information).

Environmental factors (natural selection) also helps the loss of information in a population. Skin with low levels of melanin (white) tends to burn more easily (and develop cancers etc.) in hotter climates, whereas people with a lot of melanin (black) will struggle to obtain sufficient vitamin D in colder climates.

When God scattered the people at Babel (with different languages), this separation, along with loss of information due to environmental selection, could easily account for the different "races" we see today.

This is a very simple overview/summary - for a more detailed description, please refer to the first article cited in the source. For an interesting article on twins (white and black) born to the same parents, see the second article.

  14. Read about Noah and the flood, for races or colors as you call it came from his sons.

Also while at it. Move to a hot climate and then have 3-5 generations of your family in that climate. Guess what... their skin will darken with each generation due to their surroundings. Same principle is what most call a tan.

  15. Actually, I think they were both Black.

    White people came from Aliens.
