How did american revolution impact french revolution?

France was sending the troops to America. They did this to revenge from the British for the "seven years war" though knowing their economic situation was critical. The soldiers who returned from America were biased by the American revolutionary ideas such as, taking arms against a horrific rule is right of the people, there should be no taxation without representation, All men should have liberal freedoms and A Republic is superior to a monarchy etc. These ideas  helped a lot to the revolution.
