  1. well The Person Who Discovered The Thing Though Of The Name Or Named It After Them Self :D

  2. according to the bible the first man is responsible for some of them and God for the most.

  3. There can only be theories about how we went from grunts and pantomimes to spoken word.  No one recorded the events over thousands of years.  Obviously there are many languages and thus different names for the same thing.

You can look up a word in a large dictionary and find what from what earlier words it is derived.

  4. What is the meaning of life?

  5. amazing question...

I think it probably started a long time ago in caveman times so you could have something like two grunts for fire and one grunt for  meat.... and it just went from there really.

Most modern european language derives from latin... but f*ck knows where that comes from.

    I hope this helps

    grunt

  6. People call a tree "tree" because that's its name - silly

If you walked up to a tree and said, "Hello Brick wall" you wouldn't get an answer.

    I know - I've tried it.

  7. A lot of things like animals, insects, flowers, trees, the human body etc, were named long ago in different languages like Latin.

  8. In the flow of life, when men gradually started to develop spoken languages improving from their sign language, whatever came to their mouth would have become the name.

Certain objects might have reasons for their name based on its behaviour.
