Well, all I can say is that Sourav Ganguly is my favourite player, and I feel that he is the one who really took Indian crciket to a position of honour as a captain. His aggressive temperament as a captain is well known, and his batting is a combination of elegance and skill. he was sacked from the national side due to some foul conspiracies against him, but the manner in which he made his comeback is truly inspiring. I admire him because of his leadership qualities, and his never say die atitude. I feel that he is once again the victim of discrimination, as he has been dropped from the ODI squad once again, inspite of having a good performance in the IPL.

But all people do not have similar feelings for Sourav Ganguly. Sourav is the cricketer who is perhaps the most hated, and at the same time most loved all over the India. There are many who don't like his courage, and they misunderstand his straightforward approach for arrogance. Many people like Sourav dada, others hate him,  but he is the one who can't be ignored.
