  1. He was a keen observer and took note of every observation and that led to his experimental success. He analysed the crosses and proved 3:1 ratio in Garden pea. He could prove the dominance of characters in monohybrid and dihybtid ratios.


  2. Gregor Mendel use ratios to explain his experiments. These ratios are 3:1 for monohybrid crosses and 9:3:3:1 for dihybrid crossed. Take note that these ratios are only limited to traits that are governed with complete dominance.
