  1. it didn't, and probably existed.

    However, those pieces of life, whatever they were that did reproduce for whatever reason were able to outcompete those that couldn't and therefore are the ones that continue to live to this day.  

    In otherwords, we can have new life all the time, but if it fails to reproduce, it will die out before we can even discover it's existence.


  2. Each was created to have seed in itself to reproduce after its own kind.  What is the point of having life on earth if none of it is able to reproduce?

  3. It didn't - and that's the whole point of instinct... all life is pre-programmed to reproduce without actually knowing it.
