  2. Lough acoose in Kerry yeah?

    The name ‘Kerry’ comes from the Old Irish word Ciarraige meaning the people of Ciar, an early Celtic tribe that settled in the area around 300 BC.

    As for Acoose it took me awhile but it means 'lake of the two caves', good trout fishing there.
