  1. The discovery of fire probably led to an advance in human development that allowed things like the digestion of a lot of different (cooked) meats.

  2. Same way animals do -- eating food raw, holeing up in caves for warmth, etc. The only reason we need to cook meat (other than the taste) is to lower the chance of getting sick from it. And furs + companionship could provide warmth. An animalistic life, yes, but they did survive.

  3. There is ample proof that early humans had fire as long as 40,000 YEARS ago... but they probably didn't discover it... they observed that a fire started naturally, perhaps by a lightning strike, and then kept it going in a cave or at a camp site somewhere.

  4. Several tribes of Homo Sapiens in Asia (Negritos) did not use fire when discovered in the 20th century.  They ate their food raw & lived in a tropical environment.  These are very small people of Mt DNA haplogroup M & Y haplogroup D(probably among the 1st sapiens out of Africa) that avoided contact with other humans. Somehow they avoided all human contact for 1000s of years but are currently on the verge of extinction.  Do a google on Indian, Australian, or Tasmanian

    negritos.

  5. They were used to it. Their bodies were adapted to survive the harsh cold and extreme heat. It was only after fire was invented did the bodies start to change.

  6. Those of the genus Homo (that is, Homo sapiens, Homo neanderthalensis, Homo habilis) have always had fire. Our predecessors, Australopithecines, also had fire, but we don't know if they could MAKE fire. Before our non-human ancestors had fire, they likely hadn't left Africa, and ate little meat.

  7. like a animal

  8. by procreating.... before  getting  killed  out hunting ,     killing, to eat and provide for others....and slowly learned how to use fire  after seeing it from a distance for along time.
