  1. Theory of Management came into existant when people became lazy or careless for their work in proper way. Management theory is the theory of proper utilisation of time and oppertunity.

I think a lot of folks would say management theory came about in the early 1900's when Frederick Taylor introduced his idea of "Scientific Management" by studying things like shovel size and workman productivity. Taylor's empiricization of management allowed for measurement and testing, which was his biggest contribution to theory. Chester Barnard was another fundamental theorist, as an ex-CEO of Pacific Bell in the 1920's, he assembled really the first FORMAL theory of management and suggested that people should be induced rather than coerced into cooperating with your directives, if you want higher performance anyway.

    It was really all about two things, one was to make management acidifies operationalizeable, meaning making things measurable.

    The next was to focus on the individual as an independent actor with individual sets of preferences, boundedly rational, limited appetite for utility and not necessarily self interested.
