What's worse is that it's often obvious when women have gotten breast implants, especially if they are wearing swimsuits. That's because you can see the roundness at the top and the gap down the middle. Also, those b*****s don't move with the woman as she walks and don't flatten when she lies down on her back.

i got boob implants because i wanted to be fuller instead of flat-chested. now i'm a full 34C. i like my b***s. the implants  have become part of me. they're not something "different" from me. btw, i've a phd and 10 years post-high school education. i'm NOT at all stupid. this is a personal thing. your entire premise is wrong in that you have a preconceived notion about how women should / should not value themselves as women. my god, it's just b***s and they way we want to present ourselves to the world. this is not a crisis issue. get on with your own life and stop passing your judgements on others as the "right" way to live

When it comes to appearance, many women look for validation not from men, but from themselves or other women.  Most of us realise that men are simply happy with b***s- of any type.  Personally, I much prefer natural b*****s (whatever the size) - I don't like the plastic look, and I know plenty of men who agree with me.

I've often asked beautiful women I knew WHY they wanted to get breast implants. The answer I always get?

"I'm not doing this for anyone else, I want it for me."

I've heard that dozens of times from women of all different lives. From a 23 year old drop dead gorgeous single mom, from a 48 year old woman who had been married for years, happily, and had 3 grown children, from a 35 year old single woman with a successful home business, a 17 year old girl filling out college applications...

It's across the board. The only consistent thing I can say is that all of these women (including a couple who were lesbians) are all in good shape and what most people would call "attractive."
