  1. Sometimes hamsters just die. But most likely he got sick, maybe a cold or a respiratory illness. They are so small that something un noticeable could kill them in a few days. It's ok, it wasn't your fault, they can get sick easily.

  2. He could have gotten sick, but I don't really know. You can take him to the vet for an Autopsy. But if their body gets cold, then they will die, but I don't think there was anything else you could have done. I'm really sorry.

  3. im soooo sorry!!!!!!!

my hamster died because she got cancer. :(

    maybe yours did too.

    :(

  4. It may have gone into hibernation if it gets too cold. You could warm it up in your hands and it would "come back life" or put it in a warm room.

Maybe when you fed it later it went back into hibernation and wasn't dead. It may appear dead it will be stiff, cold and may not be breathing. Make sure you have plenty of bedding and room is warm enough. I think it is somewhere aroudn 55-65F a syrian hamster will go into hibernation.

Waking from hibernation can sometimes take between 30 and 60 minutes.

  5. He was might have gotten very sick.  It was because of something you fed to him.    Do not feed hamsters anything that is not part of their diet.  I am very sorry.

  6. maybe he got cold the night before you checked him.To keep my hamster warm either i buy him one of those small beds or i cut or a fabfic square like a blanket for a hamster i'm so sorry
