How did people dance in the 70's???

i now like now everyone grinds but how did they dance in the 70's

In the first half of the decade, it was the same as the last of the 60's, freestyle apart-dancing for the most part. The last half was dominated by disco, for which you can find clips if you put "hustle dance" in your search engine.

Really depends where you lived and if you had money. People lived life with less worries like we do today. Many slow dances and mix fast beats and there no really fighting going on people did not make fun they learned join in. What I remember I was seven my uncle own a club in two states so I't how I remembered it.

It was not much different from today but the people here that say disco, they obviously were not around during that time period. Rock was also a big part of the dance scene and disco was not even popular until the mid seventies at least. It drives me crazy when people always say disco in the 70s since rock was king. If you want to see how people danced during that time, check out band stand or soul train during the 70s on youtube.

I am sure that would be on there. Pick a group that rocked or was R&B during that time and you will see.
