I was born in the late 80s and I remember what it was like without internet access but how did newspapers and news stations get their news prior to that? Was it all word of mouth?

  1. Newspaper, Television, Magazines.

  2. No, they went there.

  3. People brought newspapers and watched the news on TV.

  4. Television.News Paper.Radio

  5. It was TELEX that even you can install anytime on your machine now.

  6. People would see news happening, write about it, report it to the cops, local news stations would report it, magazines, etc.

  7. Newspapers still do not get their news from the Internet. Journalists get to know their community and have a network of sources they keep in contact with to gain information for their stories. The Internet is used as a secondary source for research if at all. To answer your question, I guess it is word of mouth and routine.
