  1. I lived in Texas a few years back and saw racism spoken in every conversation. THe black neiborhoods were called "****** town" by blacks and whites alike. Thiis type of control kept the blacks and whites from mixing the races in the nieborhoods.

      While I was driving my car I saw a black guy I knew with his car broke down on the side of the road I recognized him as he worked with my mother. I stopped got out offered them a ride. They were hesitant to accept my help, but they were stranded with two small children. I gave them a ride to the office.

      When I got home my moms boss told me not to ever do that again even if I know the person because if someone had seen this it will cause problems in the white community.
