lots of patience, time, and understanding. don't forget trust too. apparantly it took her 800 hours (2 yr) to ride bridleless alone

*sigh* i wish i could have that sort of relationship too. someday.... i just lack in confidence

She worked through a technical and methodical program of natural horsemanship.  She dedicated her time and efforts to creating her relationship with her horse.  It took a lot of work for a long time.  You can have the same, just get the information and take the time it takes to accomplish your goal.  You can't get started any sooner than today!!!
