Do people here listen to Rush, Savage, Beck, Levin and get many of their ideas about GW from these shows?

  1. I once listened to the mindless dribble on the Stephanie Miller Show and almost threw up.  I also heard something about global warming on KPFA, called the station, and won a really cool free Chairman Mao badminton set.

  2. Just to play off (Dr Jello's) answer; verify, verify, verify.

  3. To me the real fact is that the Left is pushing it so when they get in charge U will pay a tax to breath. Global Warming is a scam because the green house gas is not there . If the gas is not there there is no global warming.

  4. The facts are what influenced me:

    Global Warming Facts:

    Scientists Ignored: http://tinyurl.com/366dbf

  5. it didn't, my common sense told me that al gore was lying, and that man made global warming was just a way for them to get money.

  6. Funny question.  I wonder if it's because believers follow what others believe they think that everyone thinks like them?

I'm beginning to understand that the believers just don't understand objective science, they don't understand the concept of individual thought, individual research, and individual results.

Believers seem to accept the word of others, and accept their views as absolute.

It's sad to see that some just don't have the ability to think for themselves.

  7. It would be ignorant to get your science from any talk radio show, left or right. Go straight to the scientists doing the actual research.

  8. Radio had no influence on me. Technical journals do because I read those and global warming is NOT  irrefutably factual.

  9. It's interesting that the previous answerers skirted the issue in your question. None of them said they don't listen to Rushky, Savage, or Beck.  That demonstrates the power of talk radio.  People are heavily influenced and don't even realize it.

Sadly, the far left radio hosts are no better than the extremists you listed on the right.  They all (far right and far left) achieve fame and wealth by dividing and stirring up irrational emotions with rhetoric and spin.

Anyone wanting accurate information about climate change, needs to read the peer-reviewed scientific literature or reports put out by actual practicing climate scientists.
