  1. no that's not it

he jumped the fence on one of the rids to get his hat and the ride came down and hit him in the head and you know

  2. I heard 3 fences with warning signs on them.  It was the Batman roller coaster.  I don't think that it was a hanging one.

  3. He had ridden the ride (Batman [an inverted roller coaster, yes people's feet do hang]) earlier in the day and his hat had blown off. So when he got off the ride he and a friend( I think he was 15) went to retrieve it, climbling over two six-foot fences that were marked that the area on the other side was restricted as the coaster goes through the area and is low to the ground at different points during the ride. The coaster came around and the metal piece that seperates each row hit him (not the people's feet) the friend wasn't hurt. Terrible thing to happen. The coaster had no technical issues and was back running a day or two later. A similar accident had ocurred sometime ago, same ride, same dangerous area. An employee was over in the area while the ride was test running he was 58 years of age.

  4. well he jumped two 6 foot fences that both had signs on them warning people not to enter but he didnt listen so he went in to get his hat and the ride hit him not someones foot... then he flew back and hit a pole where one of the witness described it as a "popping" sound...

I really do feel bad for the family and him but it was his fault...

the signs were there and i doubt any hat is that important

  5. his hat flew off , jumped over 2 fences and the roller coaster came down and chopped off his head...

  6. I heard on the news he jumped two fences to get a hat he lost and was hit when he bent over to pic it up

  7. You are probably thinking that the head detatched from the body and rolled away. Most likely, the force to the head was so much that it broke his vertebrae and spinal cord, also damaging the muscles and tendons. That is also still decapitation. I am sure the persons's foot or leg was probably broken too.

  8. He stupidly jumped over 2 fences to retrieve hat.  I doubt a foot decapitated his head.  It was more than likely a piece of the train, probably the outside edge.

  9. what I heard on the news. was he jumped over a fence (trying to be a "dare devil") and ran near the rollercoaster and I guess the rollercoaster was going like 80+ miles per hour and his head got decapitated.

    I know..horrible.

  10. I don't know that anyone was even on the ride at the time he grabbed his hat.  Seems like I heard that no one was riding it at the time.  You can probably check the ajc.com to get the full story.
