How did the European man conquer the entire world with such a small population in proportion to everyone else?

  1. Had the superior education and technology (weapons, ships, etc). Also had the drive for wealth, power, trade,   spreading of religion, and domination.....not just survival. Were thought to be gods by some native populations.

  5. The dominance is waning because they have learned single minded ambition for empire, perspective drawing, and complete lack of integrity in presenting arguments.

    A brilliant book and TV Documentary by Jarod Diamond that answers the question.

    Basically, we inherited germs from cattle and other sources that the Indians and others were not prepared for.  Our ancestors died for centuries and it caused us to build genetic and exposure immunity.  

    We developed superior technology and that gave us a decided advantage.
