  1. Trick or Treat origanated when children is Europe walked around, askinf for cakes and pastrys. These foods, when given away, would protect your town from evil spirits, or poltergeists, which played practical jokes on you. Hence, Trick or Treat.

    that they had the tradition of going around from house to house and the people were suppose to give the kids a gift..

    like a pumpkin or a pie or whatever they they gave..

    and if they didnt then they would prank the house

    like throwing eggs at it or whatever
