They are encouraged by our modern practice of growing mowed grass lawns, as this provides an ideal place for the grubs to grow. Adult Japanese beetles eat over 400 plant varieties and are now a major pest.


  2. Importing plants to the U.S. from Japan. this is exactly why quarentine, for plants inbound from other countries is so important to the U.S.
