  1. When Hitler becan his rein the people didn't know what his true intentions were.He had Jews sign up on a list and wear the Star of David. He also knew it by who went to temple and the men that wore the hats.He may also have been able to find out by their last names. He also had some people that weren't know Nazais that would spy on people and report back to him.

  2. Poland had records and ID cards like in most European countries, the n***s took the information and identified the Jews. Also racial profiling of the Polish people despite being Jewish or not. Also Jews were proud to be Jewish before Hitler and would not deny being Jewish unless under different situations.

  3. records i believe.

  4. I asked my AP Euro teacher that same question last year.

It turns out, people back in those days had all kinds of papers, labeling their origins far back into history.  THe n***s mainly relied on these to capture Jews.  Also, I don't know if you're familiar with Jews (i'm not saying this to sound bad, btw) but they're pretty easy to spot.  By this, I mean they have characteristic features such as dark hair, large noses, and small, close together eyes.  Also, anti-semitism was so thick throughout European History, that I don't doubt that it was public knowledge who was a Jew and who was not.

    Hope this answers your question.

  5. Easiest way is just by looking at them. If you look at someone, you can tell if they are a jew. If you have doubts look on their papers. If those look fake, ask around the community. If that doesn't help, go by their temple. I would say looks give it away. Plus they killed Poles too, so one more or less didn't really make a difference, if they made a mistake.

  6. Germany has for a long time required religion to be on one's documents such as passports and other government issuances (they still ask for it).  It used to be the basis for taxation, which often went to the Catholic or other churches.  So, Jews were known.  Those were passed as non-Jew got fake papers and didn't "look Jewish."  Also, Germany has always kept very good, detailed records on everyone.

  7. The S.S. had men who would capture papers and use them to capture Jews. Also their was many Pro n***s who would tell them were they were.

  8. Records, and they were forced to tell the germans if they found out that there lieing they would be killed they thought the germans might of let them go or something.

  9. Probably from records kept in synagogues. Or perhaps from Polish census records.

  10. It was well documented but don't mistakenly think that  the n***s only arrested Jews, millions of non-Jews also died in the concentration camps.

  11. Different ways...

First of all - documents, as other people said.

Secondly when Germans created ghettos, at the beginning nobody knew what they really want to do. Most of the people believed that they just want to create "racial districts" in cities and towns and a lot of Jews just moved there without being forced to do it. It's a very interesting historical paradox, but when Germans created Jewish Ghetto in Warsaw, Poland, some of Jewish houses were left outside Ghetto borders and owners of these houses often negotiated with German authorities that they want their houses to be within the ghetto as well... Later they found out what this was really about...

Thirdly n***s had "scientific" methods of determining whether an individual was "racially pure". They measured heads, ears, noses etc. and in this way determined whether someone was a Jew.

Finally in case of men, they simply told people to take off their trousers and pants, and they checked... you know what. Out of all people living in Poland only Jews used to do "circumcision".

  12. It wasn't a secret. The n**i's were clever. First they found out who was Jewish, then they began their racism.
