How did the city of Mohenjo-Daro begin?

  1. Mohen Joe and Daro were camping one day in the wilderness and Joe said to Mohen "Man if Daro wasnt around we could have been doing the nasty".

    Thats when Mohen came up with the idea of buildings and walls - to keep Daro out.


  2. The cities of Mohenjo-daro and Harappa formed along the freshwater river known as the Indus Valley (Modern day Pakistan), circa 3500 BCE.

    It was an agricultural civilization which was contemporary with the Nile and Mesopotamia.

    Unfortunately, this location was subject to earthquakes and flooding, which yielded it unsuccessful by about 1500 BCE...
