How did the great depression end?

I'm making a booklet on the great depression for school and i was need to know when the great depression in the u.s. began to get better and how. I've looked on wikipedia but i don't understand what it means so...help?

  2. World War II ended the Great Depression.  The New Deal made a huge difference, but it really took the war to end the Depression.

  3. Try WWII.   War always gets the country back on its feet economically.  (Think of all the industries that are involved in supplying things for war.)  FDR knew this and it influenced his decision to get involved.
