They went from being nomadic tribes, to builders of villages, which led to cities!

us humans are very smart, and we can adapt to new things easily given a right tools. plus, they were nomadic meaning they move all the time to new places and settle and blend in

after they demonstrated they couldnt behave themselves the second time (world war 2), the allies decided to station troops there permanently....the germans pretty much didnt have a choice but to act civilized. but to still refer to them as 'huns' is kinda racist....
