  2. the hunter gatherers had a diet which produced very little methane, so when they seldom did go off it was just a little "toot". the environment hardly even smelled it. one modern cow produces more gas than 22.7 hunt-gaths.

    where did you get this question? and i hope it was more precise than the way you presented it to us. you were talking about the h-gs farting,weren't you? since you are speaking of 2 widely seperated eras the only effect i could think of was maybe some telltale stench left in the air.

    maybe you got a couple of words changed around.
