They are using an Apple Macintosh computer - likely an iMac - with a built-in iSight camera and the bundled Apple software.

mostly it is a combination of morph which is a graduated blending of two picture extremes and flip book animations of small handdrawn objects superimposed on a background scene.

Cody you can use Adobe Premiere or Sony Vegas or any number of higher end editing apps.

After effects would do some of these effects too.

The first one might have been done on a Mac with its web cam software.
