How did the spanish treat the Philippines

was it reasonable or were the Filipinos slaves?

also the first spanish settled on a island called Cebu but did they colonise there and named it Filipinas?

they treated filipinos like c**p... that's for sure...

the name of Philippines came from King Felipe.... some filipinos are trying to change the name of the country to something more representative, but is kind of difficult.
