You would think that the NFL would do something to give them an atleast slightly more difficult schedule.

  1. They cheated (again)

  2. i ahve no idea i say that they hsuldnt have gootan any easy games cuz they would have 6 with bills dolphins jets but now jets make it harder

  3. Actually commissioner goodell and tom brady have a secret relationship and he sucks him off all the time!

idk its ******* stupid....they should just get a schedule with every fcking playoff team from last year. they TOO good....even tho they lost, they are still TOO good....them losing to the giants was a fluke. something like that wont happen again

  4. Because Bill Belichick sold his Mortal Soul to the Dark Master to get a favorable schedule! Not that he needs a soul. I found mine just slowed me up!

  5. because bill belichick is satan and roger goodell is his bytch.

  6. The Answers Guru has it correct.

Just like everyone is complaining about USC's schedule....if you are great, any schedule will look weak.

Even if stats say the Pats have the easiest schedule...well, so what.  Someone every year has to be given this designation.... should the Pats be blocked from getting the easiest schedule because they are the Pats?  NO!

I am not even a Pats fan, just standing up for what I believe in.

  7. Division games are set. 6 of their 16 games are set each year automatically.

But I'm not really sure how this happened. Their schedule is pretty soft. Oh well. Can't change it now.

  8. Anakin D is right, the schedules changes each year so next year complainers (like you) will be complaining about some other team having an easy schedule. Mostly becuase you are a fan of a crappy team that needs a weak schedule to get a playoff shot. The Pats went 16-0 last year without cheating and they were playing NFC East teams, AFC North teams, the colts and the chargers. NO one was complaining about their schedule which was 3rd toughest last year. They had a tough schedule last year and they deserve an easy one this year plain and simple.

  9. its a preset schedule.  Its just the way the chips fell and it doesnt help that the Dolphins, Jets, and Bills, all of whom the Patriots play 2x's, all suck.  So they should get 6 wins.

in addition, I found this for ya:

    [edit] Regular Season

A sample scheduling grid, with a single team's (the Browns) schedule highlighted. Under this hypothetical schedule, the Browns would play the teams in blue twice and the teams in yellow once, for a total of 16 games.Main article: Regular season (NFL)

Following the preseason, each of the 32 teams embark on a 17 week, 16 game schedule, with the extra week consisting of a bye to allow teams a rest sometime in the middle of the season. Each of the 32 teams' schedules are organized in the following way:

Each team plays the other three teams in its division twice: once at home, and once on the road (six games).

Each team plays the four teams from another division within its own conference once on a rotating three-year cycle: two at home, and two on the road (four games).

Each team plays the four teams from a division in the other conference once on a rotating four-year cycle: two at home, and two on the road (four games).

Each team plays once against the other teams in its conference that finished in the same place in their own divisions as themselves the previous season, not counting the division they were already scheduled to play: one at home, one on the road (two games).

  10. Wow I have never seen so much whining in my life, almost every time the Pats are brought up,every1 just has to drink the haterade.

The reason they are in such a weak division is not theyre fault, those teams have sucked for years now and it up to those teams management to make theyre teams better.Every1 b*tches about the Pats being in the weakest division in the NFL,well thats just part of the game, your team is in a certain division, deal with it and stop crying.

With that being said to answer your question, well lets put it this way, lets say your the ravens, the redskins, or any other mediocre team and give them that schedule that the Pats have.Does the schedule still look easy?Yeah I thought so.Now give that schedule to the Pats and all of a sudden its "The NFL's easiest schedule".

  11. The schedules are pre-determined every year.  They follow the same formula.  I'm still not sure how they pick which games are home and which games are away, but as far as the opponents go, it's not like they're picking out of a hat.

With a little bit of research you can know all but 2 of the teams that any given team will play next year already (2 games depend on how this season ends up).

  12. mi4johns said it! Thank u lord!

  13. So that they'll get humiliated in the playoffs again.

  14. The NFL has been rigged up to favor the Patriots for years.  Why do you think they got away with outright cheating, along with a lot of shadier moves, with just a slap on the wrist?  At minimum the coaches responsible should have been kicked out, and that's likely what would have happened to any other team.  But instead they fined a few people a tiny fraction of their immense salaries and took a draft pick away, and then felt bad about that so they gave them the easy schedule.

NFL has been rigged for years, just like the NBA, and everyone knows it.  It's one of the reasons many people prefer college ball.

  15. i know they always get the easiest shuedules they need to make it harder for them they will blow a few games though

  16. because of politics! Its always going to be like that too! Money Money Money!

  17. i think roger godell is a patroits fan i mean he destoryed the tapes of the practices what an idoit.

  18. Really, that's just what happens when you beat the c**p out of everyone in your division and the conferance.  The last 3 teams to win every game in their conferernce and at least 13 games overall were the Seahawks(2005), Colts(2005), and Eagles(2004).  They got to play these same teams in their division 2 times each again next year, making their strength of schedule appear much easier which it wasn't necesarrily.

    2006 - Seahawks 3rd easiest schedule

    2006 - Colts 10th easiest schedule

    2005 - Eagles 3rd easiest schedule

    3+3+10 = 16

    16/3 = 5.3, or about the 5th easiest schedule

How did they get #1? - well the Patriots had a better record than any of these 3 and I suppose they had a little luck that they didn't land in, say, the 2nd 3rd or 4th position

    - And to prove that it is all relative, what did the Eagles and Seahawks to with their supposedly 3rd easiest schedules the following year? - they went 6-10 and 9-7 respectively! that's a combined 15-17, because all of the teams in their divisions had improved in the offseason.
