  1. Just swim in a pool, or a lake.


  2. Fresh water rivers flowing over rocks that contain salts/minerals, erode these rocks, and carry the disloved salts/minerals to the oceans.

        Over millions of years the sun evaporates the oceans, removing fresh water, thereby concentrating the salts/minerals.  Boom! Salty oceans.  .
