How did they get Raven out of the 3rd Cheetah Girls movie?

I didn't watch the movie last night, and I probably won't watch it anyway, but I was still wondering, how did they take Raven out of the 3rd movie? I saw the first 2, and she was probably the main character. In this movie did they just act like she never even existed? Or did they just say that she already was busy that summer, or that she dropped out of the band, or what?
