  1. It's sad. No respect for other people anymore. I hate it.

  2. Because the punishment is not severe enough.

  3. Why did the stupid 'B' have to ring her boyfriend? who was probably on drugs and as thick as two short planks. Wasn't at work was he?. He caught him cold with a punch, no warning, no time to prepare. Oh! and he hit the wrong person, not that the right person deserved that anyway.

  4. Things seemed to be different in the days when couples made a real effort to stay together.  Then one went to work while the other raised the children and taught them what was right and wrong.  Now the children raise themselves.

  5. Behaviour like this is happening in all civilised countries.

Drugs, depression & alcohol, plus a breakdown in morality,

    &    law & order.

Crimes like this are going to become higher in number, as society breaks down even more.

  6. I cant believe how these thugs get away with it with just a slap on the wrist, thing is you only try to protect yourself and your family you either end up dead or get into trouble with the law, something has to be done its ridiculous. I say stick this b@5tards in the army that would sort them out!!

  7. A combination of the 'something for nothing' agenda, bad upbringing and education plus the absence of any sort of real punishment.

Of course there has always been crime and violence but it has never been tolerated as it is now.  Mindless violence of this type is on the increase whilst protection of the general public is not a priority.  Only criminals have Human Rights in the UK.

This poor man was not even involved in the queue jumping episode, he just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.  I'll put money on it that the attacker's charge of murder will be reduced to manslaughter and he'll do about years if he's really unlucky.

    Pass the sick bag.

  8. yeah well, what is our world coming to? one of these days every will have killed each other over something stupid.

  9. suck huh?  but there was a unarmed man in north smithfeild RI USA that got shot and killed by a police officer for stealing 1 can of baby formula, now thats ****** up, police suck pig ***

  10. I know its because we dont make people work we just give them free money to sit on thier backsides and do sod all.

  11. We've become a really selfish, grumpy bunch.  I don't think we're very happy as a society.  I mean, to fight to the death in a supermarket queue, you'd have to have a lot of issues going on in your head.

  12. because instead of nipping violent crimes in the bud years ago and sending them to hard labour in prison for a decent amount of time, these scum as you put it have no respect for the system they know they will get off lightly whatever they do and go to a prison that is like a hotel.

  13. this myth that the country has suddenly become violent is absolute nonsense.  in the 70s and early 80s racism was vile.  it wasnt much earlier than then that we used to lock up homosexuals and mentally ill people and hang murderers.  the first half of the last century saw 2 world wars.  go further back than that and things get really violent

id much rather be alive in britain now than at any other time in history

  14. I agree with junifercat.  We should bring back institutional violence to make this country a less violent place.

This country has always been violent.  The punks in the seventies were just as bad as the hoodies today.

Oh, and to the genius who whined about the fact we respect criminals' human rights: duh, thicko, the fact that we respect people's human rights is what stops us being criminals.

Don't get your opinions from the red-top tabloids, people.  Get them from between your ears.

  15. I agree, I wish I could go back 40yrs, things were different then, you still had murder and robbery but, no knife and gun culture like today. Probably not PC but, justice is a joke. Bring back hanging for murder, 20 lashes for robbery,That would be more of a deterrent.

  16. I think that incident was absolutely disgusting!!!  But please dont tar the whole country with the same brush.  There are some decent people living here!  Its ashame the media doesnt give the good in this country the same press coverage.

  17. A mixture of Nu Labour and bleeding heart liberals have wrecked this country.

  18. Liberals made it happen in your country and in the US. Consistant handing out of non punishment for violent and serious crime has created a criminal element not fearful of the justice system. In the US we have the ACLU. It is an organization design to set  criminals free upon society. They mask themselves in preserving rights but they are wolves in sheeps clothing.  I' m sure you have similar organizations. But the root of this problems lies within the liberal element of your country.

  19. Because we let every expletive under the sun in and have no immigration policy. next q

  20. Disrespect and no discipline in schools doesn't help.

I am so pleased they have charged the girlfriend of this man - in my eyes it is 100% her fault that this happened. If someone mistakenly jumps in front of you in the queue say something you don't call your violent boyfriend to sort him out! Probably one of these women that love having a protector. Cow.

  21. It starts with irresponsible and inadequate people having kids together. Laws won't stop that. Only conservative values including marriage and the end of welfare dependancy will turn this country around.

Look at the idiots on the authoritarian left trying to ban all sorts of things, set up a surveillance society and lock up ever more people. They'll never admit that the real cause of crime is the dependency culture they've created - that's where you'll find the scum of society - Labour's children.

  22. Maybe we need someone like Joe Arpaio to run our prisons...

  23. It's absolutely vile isn't it.

  24. yeah your right....this government is letting it happen, people are lazy as they are not made to work (i say bring back workhouses), human rights is going crazy (thanks cherie blair). the victim is no longer protected, it is the criminals that are getting the protection to protect their human rights........what a joke.

prison sentences are a joke too so if someone wants to do something the threat of prison is no longer an issue

  25. Its a common response but I blame the Labour Government.

It is responsible for the 'welfare society', making it often more profitable to sit on your @rse rather than going to work.

The blame culture where no-one has to take responsibility for their own actions anymore.

Someone else is always to blame and you can sue someone if you so much as trip and fall for gods sake! I reckon this thug will probably have some excuse for being a lout 'I had a bad childhood and dont know any better' or something.

Kids are brought up practically feral because parents arent allowed to discipline them. I was taught right from wrong and to respect authority, and if I did step out of line I got a smack, consequently I have never been the wrong side of the law. Teachers cant discipline them, they cant even tell a kid he has failed a test, in case the word 'fail' causes little Johnny or Susan to spiral into depression.

There are no deterrants. Crims treat jail as a cake walk, to the point when even when offered the chance to escape they choose not to because life is too cushy inside.

The one common denominator between all these factors contributing to societies downfall?

New Labour, and more specifically, its Human Rights act.

    Thanks a bundle Mr Blair

  26. the government just turned a blind eye and let them move right on in .....into a neighbourhood near you

it seems that some people have no respect for anyone else - yet demand it for themselves

and the kids they bring up ......well they are just charming!

  27. Unfortunately there is no respect or courtesy anymore, and you daren't look at someone the wrong way anymore because you don't know what will happen. There is no strong message from schools, government or the courts that if you do something wrong you will be punished. We are too liberal and should start to reward good behaviour not bad.
