How did this country get so screwed up?

once we were 50% of the world economy. now we're toast with too little butter spread on it. we were head and shoulders better off than any other country. now we're not much more than a 3rd world nation. what happened to our people?

our forefathers would be heart broken if they could see us now. why don't americans everywhere stand up and fight back hard? we don't have to take this. we run the goverenment, or we're supposed to.

where did our backbone go? are we now just spineless little weenies willing to whatever c**p our gov decides we can have? h**l even the hippies of the 60's had more on the balll than now!

Even the hippies? I'd say the hippies absolutely had it on the ball. They protested and brought the war to a grinding halt. But then the media also was ALLOWED to show what the Vietnam war was really about. Try watching the war on TV every night and see if people don't start protesting. h**l, we're not even allowed to see all the Abu Grabib pictures because they are too sensitive. Show them, GDI, show everything.
