  1. All over the world, television took the place of the hearth, and provided a new focal point for families gathering together in the evenings, after school and work. People got to learn more about their surroundings and what happened around their home. People learned about the world more, saw more photos, and discovered more things brand new to them. People discovered things like new music, new art, and unfortunately, new news about new wars. People could see what was going on all over the world. The government could no longer hide what was going on in wars or what was even going on outside their front door. The media could take cameras everywhere and it affected everyone. People saw the horrors of war in their living room and their views on war were changed dramatically. In fact, Vietnam was known as the television war because it was so publicly televised. (beat that)!!!

  4. well, i think it changed the world by the news it gives us info about what is happenin in the world and it will give us something to do all day.... and the t.v has some channels that have learning so little kids can learn some things
