  1. It's a natural process.  We're just speeding it up with all of the extra greenhouse gas emissions.

So we didn't start it, and we're not going to end it, but we can at least try to get it back to normal.

  2. The industrial revolution in the 1900's. All the factories were built around that time to supply millions of people worldwide with jobs to modernize our world with technology. The building of vehicles and transportation added even more smog into the air. Putting us at 98 years after the vehicle was invented and look how much pollution is in the air. Thats global warming.

  3. we haven't started yet.  Don't fall for tha scam

  4. We started it by co2 emissions from our cars and factory's polluting the air with their toxic fumes.

  5. We didn't. There's no real evidence of global warming.

But we should be more careful and responsible with the way we use resources.

Global warming is more socialist c**p.

  6. Global warming was begun 26,000 years ago by a group of cavemen living in what is now southern France.  At the time their world was dry and cold and covered in glaciers.

These far thinking troglodytes reasoned that by building huge fires at the base of glaciers they could melt the snow and drive it back.  They didn't understand the science but they got the basics right.  At first the soot from the fires covered the ice, which caused it to absorb sunlight and melt.  As more land was freed from the glaciers they continued to build these fires until they drove the ice out of Europe.

As the ice melted seas rose, which alarmed a caveman named Algor.  So the fires were put out.  This lead to a period of reglaciation called the Younger Dryas.  Eventually sense prevailed and Algor was fed to saber-tooth tigers.  Humans continued heating the earth until we have our pleasant benign climate.

  7. When the government decided that a carbon tax would be an appropriate way to funnel more money from the taxpayer's wallet.

  8. i dont know just

    we use a lot of

    chemicals or something

    like that

    so the earths

    atmosphere

    has too much carbon

    something about that.....

  9. your the one that started global warming cause your so hot!!!!!!!!!!globalsteal7@yahoo.com talk to me.

  10. We started global warming by polluting by cars and industries. what were doing is putting too much co2 into the atmosphere at once creating global warming. for more info go to http://epa.gov/climatechange/kids/carbon...

  11. Godzilla ate beans and let his methane fly.  This caused the ozone layer to deplete and melt the iceberg that sunk the titanic.  It was a downward spiral from there.

  12. We started by polluting

we released Carbon Dioxide which is a bad gas

    from our car pipes

  13. We kicked it off with the industrial revolution in the late 1700's. What started as an amazing new way to produce textiles with machines instead of people soon spread to virtually everything, and factories/industries sprung up across the world.

And then when the power of steam engines through burning coal was developed, the CO2 that had been stored for millions of years began being released.

Of course, we didn't know about it then. We had no idea about greenhouse gasses and the ability that they have to absorb the sun's heat in the form of lightwaves. Apart from some REALLY bad localised pollution in places like London, things were going great.

That's how it started. Over time things like massive deforestation have contributed to it, and also burning oil as well for transport. But coal was the kickoff, and coal is still our #1 CO2 emitter and our biggest threat going into the future.

By the way, around 1900 we DID learn about CO2's heat trapping ability (the Swede Svante Arrhenius in 1896). At first it was raised as a potential problem of the future, but that concern was buried until... basically the last 20 years when the climate started warming and getting more extreme.

It's amazing how many denialists there still are, as you can see right here on Yahoo Answers

    Hope that helps :O)

  14. It has been going on for a long time, however we have accelerated it with our recklessness of factories and manufacturing processes that pollute the environment

  15. We didn't--it is a political agenda to gain more control bythe government.
