  1. It is a part of history we are no proud of as white Europeans but the sad truth is that people have been killing and abusing each other ever since Man has been on earth. Today, Africans are killing each other over tribal racism, Religious differences and political agendas. The Mexicans have been oppressing and killing the Indians for centuries and continue to do so. Unless you are a Mexican Indian, your latino ancestors were also immigrants to the Americas and were not any more native to California than those you call White people. Even the Indians came here from Central Asia if you want to be technical about it. Every Nation is mostly comprised of people who's Ancestor came from another part of the world. Mexico lost the Southwest territories when they lost the War. Those are States of the United States not of Mexico. You may not like it but this is a fact.If you are a born American , this is also part of your heritage. If you are a guest or an immigrant, no one is forcing you to stay here if you don't like us Americans.

  2. White people didn't shoot the Natives to death... their diseases killed them off far too quickly. By the time the colonies began to arrive and form, millions of Natives had died.

If you really want to get technical, we all deserve to be in Africa, because Natives migrated from Asia across the Bering, and the Asians spread all across the world from Africa. So yeah... we should all go back home. ALL of us. :D

    /sarcasm

  3. Greed. They killed thousands of native Americans so they could steal their land, those they did not kill were placed on reservations. Sort of an open air prison. When the white man came to this country the Indians were friendly. But the white people lied and betrayed the natives, war broke out and we know who won that battle. I am white and if you read the history of this country it will make you wonder how the white people got away with so much and still have the 'right' to decide who gets to live here. The history of the white people here in this country and how they asserted them selves over the Indians and black people is an amazing story. My ancestors came from Ireland and England. Your question is an interesting one, but everyone will have a different opinion on it.

  4. I guess you could call me white, but I am a citizen of the US, so therefore I have rights, as any other citizen. My ancestors came to this country and became citizens, legally. Unless you count my grandmother, she lived in a Reservation (native american). You mention Mexican Immigrants. I lived in southern CA growing up, so I am really in touch with how you feel about the attitudes towards Mexicans. Those who live along the boarder feel more strongly toward Mexicans that the rest of the country, mainly due to exposure. As a whole, no one has a problem with Mexicans, or any other nationality, coming into the US to gain citizenship. But, when its done illegally, then people have problems with that. Why? Well, everyone has their own personal reasons, but, mainly it because its illegal. It's just that simple.

I couldn't agree with you more, about how the majority of the US is ignorant of its own history. We all learned about George Washington and the founders of the country, but, no one is really educated on what went on here BEFORE that, and what really happened behind the scenes. History is written by those who are in power, not by those who have lost. If the true history ever came out, then we might see this country in a whole new way, but what government is ever going to teach its children that it was founded by s******g over the common man and taking whatever it could?

  5. You asked why do Mexicans need permission to come to the US, especially California (I'm assuming you mean New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Nevada, etc., as well). Well, if you are a Mexican Citizen, you can come here, to visit. However, if you want to stay and become a citizen, than you need to do it the legal way. The same is expected from any other country. Mexicans are not exempt from the current laws and regulations, regardless of if thier past generations lived here prior or not. Theres where your living in the past. If that agrument had the effect that you wanted, then we could all just go back to our "native" lands and become citizens. I'm not intitled to just walk into South Africa and Nigeria and say, "hey, my grandparents were born here, so, I'm back". Come to think of it, I have a grandparent who is Native American, so, can I just go in a Connecticut casino and state that I want my cut? She was, after all, from their tribe. Alaska used to be Russia - I don't see them complaining about how they should have the same rights as a US citizen just because they used to live on the land.

As far as the rape and murder that you mention. Please. These are not white only crimes. Sure, it happened in the past. Whites did rape and pilliage. So have other races and nationalities. Read a current newspaper, it is still happening today. The last time I checked, these things that you are blaming as white only things are happening NOW, in Africa. As you claim to be so in touch with being a victim, what are you doing to help those out there? Rape happends everyday, in the back seats of cars, on dates, at parties, even behind the resteraunts and stores you shop at. The majority of rapes are done by men, but, I don't have the hate for all men as you do for all whites. Just because someone commits a crime, doesn't make the whole group guilty by association. I'm sure there were whites (as you call them) who didn't rape and pilliage the whole land.

You say "Us Native Americans were here first, therefore we, the only people who should have the right to say something is us". Don't they have a say? Native Americans may have been run off their lands, but they had to option to fight back. What about the African Americans who were kidnapped, traded and forced to work as slaves for hundreds of years?

I am more than aware of the rights that I have in this country, and even more aware of the history that entitled me to it. But, I am equally aware of what my grandparents had to endure prior to my family coming to this country and what they were escaping from.

My problem with the current immigration, as it stands today, is that anybody can become a resident of this country. That is fine with me. What I am sick of hearing is how those who come into the US illigally feel that they are entitiled to the same rights as the citizens, when they, infact, are not. If they want the same rights, the same freedoms, the same treatment, then become a LEGAL citizen and stop thinking that you are just naturally entitled. The US has much more leinant rules for citizenship than most other countries. My family had to learn the language, learn the history, learn the customs, take tests, be sworn in, etc, just like the millions of other immigrants that came in. Why should Mexico (or Canada for that matter) be any different?

  6. Hey, if the mexicans want ot rise up and take our country from us, they should go ahead. Like you said they should be treated no differently than us. And if our military crushes them, than they had their shot, they failed, now get out of our country. We have the right because we took it by force.

  7. two points! swoosh!

  8. Oh, yeah, the Spanish were saints in South America.

  9. they are stupid and when they first came here they killed like 2/3 of the native americans! (My family has been here since b4 the 1600's). I think its because native americans didn't believe in just kill people for no reason and had more values than conquering land and getting more power/ money... that's wats wrong wit white people they are so concerned wit material things.

  10. Non-ignorant white folks don't think we have any more right to be here than anyone else.

But whitey did bring democracy and a stable nation in which all different races could come and be free.

I like how you say we "stole" land from the Mexicans.  Mexicans are mostly Spanish/Indian mixes, so their Spanish ancestors(yes Spaniards are white) stole that land too.  Can't be Mexican without the creation of a Mexican Nation, which I'm pretty sure didn't exist when Cortes landed and started f**king up shop.

  11. You can't undo the past. Only live in the Present and hopefully direct change for the future.

Pleas e stop being bitter about something you can't change and do what change you can bring about. If you really feel that strongly about things, get involved in politics and attempt legitimate and permanent change.

Again, if you really want change, become personally involved in bringing that change about, and not just talk about it.

  12. we forced our way. duh.

As a white person do I think it was wrong to come to america? no

Was it wrong to kill wrong and force the Natives out of the way? yes

But what can ya do that was the past.

You sound kind of racist to me. My ancestor are not me.

Though I do realized there is still white racism in this country, you shouldn't stereotype people.

  13. How long must this s*** go on?

  14. America has an immigration problem.

And the Indians are getting really ticked about it.

  15. i would suggest reading some history books.
