How did yahoo chat member attack me???

Question

I was in a yahoo chats room and was replying to one person when another thought the reply was toward him. End result is about three seconds later my computer goes nuts as hundreds of freinds request windows star to pop up faster than my computer can handle... thus locking me up for hopurs till i got around it. How and what did this? And where do i get one of those wonderful toys?

It is a type of botter...you got spammed...it does suck but if your lucky you only get hit w a few hundred but some have a program to hit you with a few thousand. And if you want something like that to do to others well it'll cost ya...I think. Good luck.

there's no trick to this, it's a technique used by hackers to crack major computer systems.  The trick is to get some friends to help you organise a joint attack on someone.  If you bundle enough forces there's one bound to get past the security system.  He just got a few geek friends to send you a few invitations that's all.

you were booted by a yahoo user. You can boot people from yahoo chat rooms. Dont ever try to download those boot programs not only are they illegal they also contain virus and trojans that can harm your computer.

If you still wanna try your luck, go to google key in yahoo booters, need I say more.
