How did you celebrate your 23rd?

I awoke at 5am, dressed and was to work by 7. Worked all day, got home at 6.  Prepared an epicurean meal of Hormel chili in a can with oyster crackers. Ate in front of my 12'' tv, in my only chair, a plastic covered recliner. Had a cigarette (I smoked then), started watching some show.  4 hours later I awoke and went to bed.  The beach sounds a whole lot better!  Happy Birthday.

I spent my 23rd birthday in the hospital for multiple head concussions as a result I got from getting falling down drunk because the love of my life left me right before my birthday.

I'd suggest happier ideas. Maybe hanging out with you friends and loved ones, maybe getting buzzed (Not falling down drunk)

It would have passed relatively unnoticed - my work colleagues may have given me cards, and my sister and Mum would have given me something.  My brothers (as always) wouldn't remember that it was my birthday.  And that's it.......the violinist is standing next to me playing a doleful melody, and the tears are flowing down my cheeks (Not!!)
