How did you choose your baby name?

Husband and I wrote a list each. Only one name was on both lists. So that was dead easy. We'd already decided to use his name as baby's middle name as that was his family's tradition.

shane was just a name that i had loved forever

and reilly was my grandparents on my moms sides last name, as well as my mothers maiden name lol

I was at a bookstore looking through baby name books. One fell off the shelf and landed open to the J names for boys, and the name Jonas just stuck out at me. I loved it. It helped that he just looked like a Jonas when he was born. I have a friend who says she never had a name chosen for her daughter. The name Kayley just fit her when she came out of the womb.

I chose names that are not very common but sound nice. I am Greek and I chose names from the ancient Greek mythology, but they won't probably mean anything to you.

It was so hard to pick a name. We wanted to use Lynn as a middle name (many women in my family have Lynn as a middle name) but we ended up picking out Kaitlyn Elyse. Elyse is my mom's name.

combine two names together with a old fashoin name as their middle name!!!!! thats what gunna happen whenever i have them :)
