  1. I was raised to be Baptist Christian, but in the past 3 years have become agnostic.

I base my beliefs (or as you said, lack thereof) on fact or what makes sense, and Christianity didn't fit.

  2. Grew up in a christian home, went to church, youth group, bible studies, just reading the bible in general, life experiences. All that sort of stuff helped me to be the person that I am today and to believe in what I believe.

  3. I just stopped trying to believe in something that didn't make sense to me just because the people around me believed it.

  4. because when i almost died, jesus talked to me. to this day i still hear him. i know he's real because of experience.

  5. I was born and raised a Muslim, and I remain one. I read the Qura'n and found that science and facts were compatible with it. I realized that its rules make sense and that the connection I have with God based on Islam is the right one to have. There is no priest or preacher or Christ between Him and me.

I compared it with other religions and found it to be the truth. Christianity, Judaism, and other religions had questions I couldn't find answers to. Islam was perfect because I found it follows human nature.

  6. The way I was raised.

    Trying other churches.

Studying World religions, taking Comparative religions
