  1. Got rid of all the bad carbs - for example :

    rice

    beans

    bread

    pasta

    flour anything

    etc. Lost 10 pounds so far. (ever 2 weeks I DO carb out though, eating a full meal of nothing but what-ever I wanna,LOL) *my treat for being so good*


  2. Moderation in everything.  Exercise every day.  Cook and eat good food.  Talk to your family.  Cry with your friends.  Laugh with the world.  Love with all your heart.

    And always remember to breathe.

  3. Make sure you have a good balance of foods, go swimming quite a lot, and try to stay in the sun.(It gives your skin vital nutrients)

  5. Everything in moderation and with a balance with healthy foods from the 5 groups

  6. I slowly stopped buying food that was unhealthy, and replaced them with healthier options. Fill your pantry with things like:

    whole grain pasta

    brown rice/long grain & wild rice

    pureed or crushed tomatoes and tomato paste

    beans of all kinds

    Canned veggies, fruits

    Make sure you eat at least 5 portions a day of fruit and veggies..eat even more if you can. Add fish to your diet, make sure to use olive oil, and canola oil for a healthy heart, eat nuts as a snack, and watch your fat/trans fats. Start drinking water, and eliminate soda. You'll feel better within weeks, which leads to exercise, and becoming more active. Get out there and socialize...join groups of interest, or go out with your friends. Take time out to enjoy life.

  7. If man made it don't eat it! I stopped eating everything in a box, can , jar, bag, frozen and love it! I am way healthy and feel great. if you think about or do some research you will find most of our history's disease became more evident once foods became refined and altered. don't eat altered food!

I make exercise a priority in my life.  I tend to do more toning then cardio but when done properly, toning exercises can provide enough cardio to get the best of both worlds.  I have been lifting weights, toning and doing cardio for over 12 years and have gone from a size 8 to a 2, and I am not skinny, I am in shape.

    Eating, I limit calories and fats and kind of eat what I want with in reason.  I buy no fat or light potato chips, enjoy them but don't indugle in to many.  I eat lots of salads with grilled fish or chicken, really limit my red meat to a couple of times a month, if that.  I also eat chocolate everyday.  I make my own almond bark, it is low in sugar and I eat one piece everyday after lunch.  I believe everything is good to eat - in moderation.

    A healthy lifestyle if a mindset, if you think it and live it, it will happen.
