  1. This was just downright bad, Why didn't NASCAR step in and do something before the race even started? Carl Edwards said there was a problem after practice. NASCAR

handled it pretty badly...they think they solved the problem throwing competition yellows, h**l they can throw as many of them as they want...it was not getting better and they knew it...It was just really slow. Really the sport has to improve...and the COT still is not getting better.

  2. I feel like the new car was the factor in the running of todays race. Not enough testing. I have to agree with the announcers and experts that explained the fact that the new car leans heavily on the right rear causing such a problem.

IDK! I certainly am not in the circle of making the decisions for NASCAR/GOODYEAR/TEAMS. I am just a fan and really glad I did not travel there to watch it. It was bad enough watching it. I was shaking my head when Tony short pitted Jr, and again all day when his pit crew seemed lathargic when compared to everyone else.

All you had to do today was maintain a top 5 spot for 10 laps at a time and be there at the end. In the end it was the Lowes team!  Congrats!!!!

Maybe after a dismal year NASCAR will rethink this whole new car theory.

  3. I think someone needs to throw one of those bricks at the Goodyear manufacturers

  4. Good because Jimmie won!!!!

  5. boring!!!!!!!!! let the teams pit when they want at least that would have made it more interesting 12 laps at a time

  6. It was a very strange race

  7. Worst NASCAR race since it began NASCAR. Very unprofessional. I've attended local Saturday night races that weren't that  scr*e*d up.

This should be interesting if Goodyear blames someone or man's up and admitted it really messed up. NASCAR of course will try to sweep it under the rug.

  8. It Sucked.

  9. Like it was a complete waste of gas.  I'm glad we're spending over $4 a gallon on gasoline in this country so a bunch of people can waste our gas to drive to a stadium to watch a bunch of other people waste our gas driving round and round in a completely pointless and boring waste of time and gas.

  10. It was the most pathetic attempt of a race I've ever seen.  NASCAR really ought to be embarassed about this.

  11. The best thing about this race was the Napa commercials with Mickey and Ron Capps

  12. Yeah but I still liked it.

    Go Dale Jr.!!!

    JUNIOR NATION!!!

  13. The race was horrible... but NASCAR did what they had to do to keep it safe.  Goodyear should be penalized in some way, or maybe it was NASCAR's fault for not testing the COT at the brickyard.

ESPN's coverage was terrible, however!  Fox does a much better job (even if Darrell Waltrip is the most irritating announcer ever!).

  14. It was a good race,it could have been better if Kyle had won

  15. One of the worst races in nascar history!!!I,ve been a fan since 1975,this takes the cake..

  16. Did not like that fact that competition cautions were the big news of the day but NASCAR does what they have to do to keep the drivers safe.  Anyway, I'm a Junior fan and happy that one of Jr.'s teammates won a race without having to conserve fuel.

  17. I only watched the first half.  It was horrible.

  18. i liked it.

    it was different, but interesting.

    Congrats to Jimmie =D

  19. I feel real s**y, yet rather vulnerable.

    I feel vivacious.

I feel like I wanna do it all over again.

It's makes Pocono look like a cake walk.

  20. I loved it.
