How did you feel when you felt your baby kick for the 1st time?

It startled me! I kinda jumped and looked at my husband and asked him what that was as if he felt it too! Ha! It was amazing though being able to feel her kick. It was at that point I actually felt pregnant -- reality set in that I was going to be a momma!

Happy. I had tears in my eyes. I thought it was the most amazing thing ever. Reality at the point sunk in for me. I really was pregnant.

very weird i got a bit of a fright the 1st time but i was so happy i almost cryed

i felt like that was the happiest day of my life and my husband was happy with joy like a kid and was't baby but babies and now i have two beautiful girls that are just 1 month 1 week.

At first I was incredibly excited!  I had been feeling strange sensations for two weeks and was blaming them on gas!  I finally palpated the area, and something pushed back!  I think it was the first day I felt pregnant, despite morning sickness, tiredness, dizziness, showing, etc!  Once I realized that I was pregnant, I realized that there was something alive inside of me, and I got a little freaked out for a second!  But as the kicks continued, my love for this little baby grew, and now I have a hard time not smiling every time I'm kicked!

I was all excited, and giddy.  I am almost a week overdue, and still love the feeling!

I got excited to feel it but thought about the aliens movie where the face hugger pops out of the chest and of course it was right before i fell asleep so then I had a nightmare. LOL
