How did you feel when you got Baptized?

So, I"m 16 years of age, and have decided to get baptized this coming sunday. I'am apostolic christian. I was wondering how others felt when you got baptized "feelings ect", wethere you are "apostolic or not". God bless.

I was a month old when I was baptized, so I don't remember.

I don't remember, I was a baby when I was baptized.  But from what others that were baptized when they were older told me, they felt...wet.

I screamed bloody murder because my mother had a stick pin in her dress that was jabbing me in the leg.  They didn't know what was happening until after it was all over.

i felt retarded, and like a fake because i dont believe in god or anythgn that has to do w/ church. my mom made me get baptised last year w/ my lttle sister... its whateverr.

The first time, I don't remember.  The second, I was six.  I wasn't allowed to go to school in Greece cause I had a catholic name.  My father grabbed me by the ear and frog marched me across the street to a church and there they gave me a proper Greek orthodox name.  I just felt relieved that Greek baptisms only involved water and some oil.

Needless to say I don't go by either.  Everybody just calls me Becky.

Awesome! I was 7 when I got baptized. I still remember how amazing it was. It's so good to know the good apostolic truth doesn't it? Sad to see all of these baby baptism. Did you know NEVER in the bible was a infant baptized? Interesting..

Stay with God.. he'll NEVER fail you. That's awesome that you've committed yourself in these teenager years. =)

Congrats! I got baptised when I was 13. It was a pretty good feeling, I felt like I was really stepping into a new life, and for me, I was because I was just coming out of a really hard time in my life, and looking back, it's when everything changed for me.

Well I was a baby, so I was probably feeling... hungry or tired. And annoyed at being dipped in water by some weird guy in a dress. Or something.
