How did you feel when you got deployed?

i leave in 2 weeks and I'm sort of excited.

Excited and scared at the same time.  There are a lot of different and confusing emotions going on.  being gone for 18 months from your family, from your friends.  and not really knowing for sure if you will come back walking on both feet.  Anything can happen on deployment and you just have to prepare yourself mentally for just that...anything.
