How did you find the aqa gcse english exam today?

I did Aqa today, the questions were quite nice actually, apart from 2b) where it was talking about words and effects..

The timing was rubbish again, I had 45 minutes left when I finished question 2a), so rather than doing a question I didnt have a clue of, I went on to the writing to advice one, and i finished it on time but the bad thing is i missed out a 6 mark question..  

Do you think Id be able to get a B if i complete the second paper, having missed off that one question?

Lots of people had ran out of time, when i asked all my friends.they said they had spent too much time on 1a/b. you just have to make sure you make up for it on paper 2!

one of my friends thought the women Michelle Hanson was a guy, so she wrote he... she thought the text was about a man who was mocking women :S

i thorough the paper was good, at least it wasn't boring. thank god the text wasn't about ships or something.

I did it today, it wasnt so bad. The readin section was fairly easy. I did the persaude/argue question in the writing strand. I suppose it wasnt so bad. But the poetry still to come.

I thought it was easy, but  2b, the one about words confused me. lol, i sat there for 5 minutes trying to figure it out and realised they just meant language but tried to confuse me by using "words".

I chose argue for the other one as well.

I ran out of time though, I wish i had a bit more time then i could have got a better mark.

I dont think i did too well, just alright hopefully.

i thought it wnet well, i liked the question althoguh i chose the pesuading on a sp[eech to you school., i got really passionate about waste i ended something liek this ..doo not hast to throw out you waste, tryed to make the examiner laugh

omg i actually wanted to kill myself after doing this paper lol im supposed to b like child prodigy and predicted 11 A*'s, its rele not that great, honestly. so although the paper was actually rele easy, i did absoultely shite. the questions on section one about "what can we be taught from the 40's" or woteva, are we just supposed to right, "re-knit jumpers, collect soap" etc. coz i tried my usual thinkin outisde the box rubbish and wrote about effects on reader and actually said nothing to answer the question. and then basically did all that up to 2b. :((( but section two, i did the persuade one which was easy, my vocab was on fire lol man i ******* up....so much for harvard lol

It was pretty easy, BUT unfortunately I spent about an hour on the first question, so I went straight to the third one and did the second question, afterwards. However, I couldn't write much for the second question because by the time I got there I only had five minutes left. I just wrote bullet points as fast as possible (not like a plan, but just answering the question briefly; my English teacher told me that if you're running out of time, the exam board will allow you to write in bullet points).

i as doing sooo good really good. and when time was over i turned page over and there was a third quiestion lol i missed it out.  thats just eeeeeergh.

can they put alll the three quiestion on one page.

i found the exam ok

on section B

i did the argue question

the question was:

Q) Older people blame younger people for today's problems. write an article arguing that older people are actually to blame.

i did a formal article because i thought the audience was older people however alot of my friends told me it was meant to be for younger kids so it was meant to be informal, can someone please tell me if i have messed this up?

I  found it quite nice really, I timed it well so I finished well within the time :) Unfortunatly I got a warning from the examiner cause I started laughing at the Swede question...I found mysef trying to think like a swede then laughed at myself *blushes*

I loved the argue question (about old people blaming kids) I got quite passionate about it hehe. Preferred it to the Literature.

How dyu think you did? I've been told I'm aiming or A* but I dont think I've got that meh.
