How did you get into Wrestling?

Question

I first got into it in 1996, when i was 3, my older brother was watching it. I sat down and watched it. Since then i've watched almost every WWE Show.

Also, i got into TNA when i was watching Bravo, i love wrestling so was thrilled when i knew there was something else besides WWE. (That was years ago btw lol) Since then, ive gotton into plenty of promotions such as ROH, NWO ect...

So, how did you get into Wrestling, i dont mean just WWE either.

I was bored one night in 1997 when I changed the channel to WCW Monday Nitro. It was the Four Horsemen in the ring cutting a promo. Ric Flair was doing his well known "Wooo!' and elbow dropping his jacket

well,i too was 3 yrs old,my father was away and my mom and i sat down and turn on the tv and saw hulk hogan in a four way out match

and hulk hogan won,and from then i kept on watching wwe and i stopped after i was really into school and 1 of my friend from primary school came to my school and she started to talk about wwe and from then i am now watching wwe

i started watching and found it really really really nice !!!!

my friends thought diffrent but fu*k them....

i use to watch every show every week

but when i knew it was all fake it stopt watching for like year

i was about 10....i went from india to qatar at 2000 and came back at 2004....It was when me and my cousin searching the TV for cool programs...Then he told me to stop at the sports channel...the first superstar i saw in WWE was Booker T....He told me booker T is a sucka....lol....And then i went on watching WWE...My Fav superstar was, is and will be The Animal Batista...

ever since i was 4, my older brother would watch wrestling and always talk about it.

i would always tell him that wrestling was stupid and why did he want to watch guys run around in their underwear and that i would never ever become a wrestling fan.

well when i was about 12, i sat down with him and watched it and i fell in love with it!

he even mocks me now saying im even more of a fan than he is!

it just goes to show you that karma does exist :D

I got into wrestling in 94 i used to watch wwf with my father

i used to always cheer bret hart on because he had one of the coolest gimmicks

I got into WcW in 96 i loved it alot liked it more then WwF since all the wrestlers were going to WcW

I got into EcW 98 but i still watched WcW and WWF more

I loved the NwO era in WcW was just awesome you would never no what is comin up, because the Wcw was full of surprises

The Monday Night Wars were really good both shows Raw N Nitro did anything to get higher ratings, although nitro beat raw 85 weeks.

But ya my favorite wrestlers are, Goldberg, Jeff Hardy, Taker, Rock, nwo, DX

well i am 3d generation lol my uncle watched it and my older brother watched it but they stoped ages ago

i remember the day i got in to Wrestling i switched on the tv and saw kane and triple h in a cage match and the rest is history

my first ppv was wrestlemania 15 and kane won by DQ :)

i first got into it when i was 6 i use to surf the channels and i came across a guy hitting someone with a chair so i thought it was cool then my grandma was telling me thats wrestling and i started watching it everyweek and then i fell in love with it

I first got into it around the year 2000. When ever I hung out at my friends house we would play Smackdown 2 on the playstation, or watch it on TV. I eventually got into it and The Hardy Boyz became my favorite wrestlers.

My friend was a huge fan. I, on the other hand, never knew a THING about wrestling. I didn't even know how they won the matches. I was talking to him on the phone and he was unusually quiet. I asked him why and he said he was watching wrestling. So I flipped to the channel and started watching Smackdown. Stupid me, I got up and left the room. So, for about a month or so, I completely forgot wrestling even existed, till one day I was flipping through the channels and realized it was on. I remember seeing MVP banging Finlay's leg into the turnbuckle and I thought it was all real, lol. So I called my friend and asked him what the crack was going on. He explained wrestling to me.

Been a diehard fan ever since. Not even a whole year though.

Oh, and I got into TNA because I heard of it on here and decided to watch a few episodes. Now I watch every week.

i first started watching wrestling(WWF at the time) when i was 5 years old in 1997. i was over at my cousins house, and they were watching survivor series live, historic night. i was just playin with stuff and they told me to watch the main event, which was the famous montreal screwjob. i havent stopped watching since, although im not a huge fan of WWE at the moment

i watch all of the wrestling i can watch. whether it be live, youtube, TV, PPV, anything.

1998 when i was 5. My dad said to me "look son, that's the big red machine!" and I fell inlove with it. Watched it all the time and collected the action figures. I don't like it as much anymore, but I still enjoy it.

when i was 5 (now 14) in1999 their was a segment with Triple H and i just thought wow and after that i got in to it but the wrestler that really made Me a fan of WWE was HBK shawn michaels his wrestling is among the best and will always be, and here i am today (i do not believe HBK is really retiring storyline i recon he will come back for jericho cause he hit is wife at Summer-Slam despite it was an accident)

Well, I saw my dad watching it late one night, and I started watching as well. I rarely remember this but I think it was The Royal Rumble. I have to ask my dad he probably remembers this..... Ric Flair won it. Also, that was my favorite wrestler that night. My dad told me this guy is one of the greatest. So, I had started watch wrestling. Ric Flair pretty much inspired me to watch wrestling. Since then I have watch WWF, WWE, TNA, ROH, etc. It added extra knowledge to my wrestling knowledge.

well for wwe i was 3 lol same age as you, and my grandpa was flipping through the channels and i saw vince mcmahon and some diva doing some promo and then i sat down to watch and then i saw a wrestling match and i decided to watch, then after that i got some action figures, ever since then i was hooked.

then for tna. it was in 2005 i think and i was flipping through channels and i wanted to see what was in spike, so i saw this show named tna impact, and i went to see what it was, and then i see 2 guys sneaking around stings house (it was shelly and um divine i think) it was b4 made his return. so i stuck on it. then when angle came it was a first priority to watch it every thursday

i started watching wwe i was soooo bored and nothing good was on tv so i switched to the sports channel and i saw jeff hardy one on one against umaga at one night stand falls count anywhere match.... and because of jeffy's risktaking behaviour i got an interest in wwe thanks to jeff now i watch all the episodes of smackdown (by the way i watched raw before because of jeffy now he is drafted to smackdown i watch smackdown!)

Flipping through the channels and saw some Mcmahon, HHH fued.  And that really grabbed me.  

I then saw it on againthe following week and watched it weekly ever since. It was Smackdown! btw.

I found  out like 2-3 year later that WWF was scripted.

When I was little around 4 my brothers use to watch it so I would walk in their room and sit down and watch it with them. Then when I was around 6 or 7 I stopped then in less then a year my cousin also watched it so I started watching it again and since then I haven't stopped. =]

I used to watch it with my Dad when I was younger but now he's all professional with his stupid work and business stuff. So now I watch it alone or with my cousins. Me and my cousins are always beating each other up while we're watching 'cause we get into arguments about who's better. It's kinda funny.
