  1. I have had to have my kids in day care for a few years so I was somewhat used to it. Its easier if they are smiling and having fun when you leave. My oldest cried when I left and that was hard. But my 2nd was having fun and so it was easy. I work so I just kept busy all day until it was time to go home. If you area stay at home mom it might be a good idea to find a part time job or volunteer(if thee arent any other kids at home

  2. with my first son it was harder for me I didn't want to leave him but he was ok just a little scared, and when I walked out of the classroom door to leave I started crying. with my second I took him to his preschool class he too was a little scared but did fine and I walked out and was a little teary eyed.  But with both of them I worried that whole day if they were ok... I guess its just being a mom and worrying about your babies..

  3. Oh gosh!  I've had a hard enough time leaving my daughter at the sitter's these past few yrs!  LOL  My daughter will be starting preschool next month, she just turned 4.  Like you said, I know she'll love it, but I know I'm still gonna be sad and try not to show it to her at least!  Ever since her 3rd birthday it seems she's growing up too fast and time is just flying by!

  4. By the time my son started kindergarten, he had already been in nursery school for 3yrs prior. When he started nursery school I was sad, kept second guessing whether sending him to school was the best thing for him. However, the nursery school where he went was a part of the church I went and I knew that he was in good hands.

When my son graduated from the nursery school, I cried like somebody had hurt him or something. I was sooo proud of him, I didn't know how to contain my emotions. My husband thought somebody had done something to me because of my reaction.

Every school year since kindergarten, even after meeting his teacher, I'll hang around just to make sure my son is okay. My son will see me and with such exasperation in his voice be like, "mom, will you go already? I don't want the kids to think I'm a baby or something." He's going to the 4th grade this year. Yaaaaaaaaa!!!!!

  5. Well i didnt worry about it because i thought my daughter is strong and she can handle anything that comes her way. also i figured if something did happen there would always be a teacher there to stop the problem.

i did flip out though cause i thought what if she went to the bathroom and fell in! what would she do. Kinda rediculous but not to bad. i relaxed and then told my husband i was thinking about her. He said not to worry.

    Dont worry nothing will happen.
